Designed by Architect Frank Flannery and brought to life by builder Ray Smith over the summers of 1979 and 1980, the lodge embodies the essence of mountain living. Its unique design, with sloping panoramic windows and triangular lines, mirroring the surrounding peaks and framing breathtaking views, captured the imagination of all who beheld it. When winter arrived, the lodge became a sanctuary for skiers seeking adventure and camaraderie. With a magnificent crackling fireplace and a mountainside location designed to soak it all in, it fostered a sense of warmth and belonging. Today, owned and operated by a dedicated group of club members, the Bundarra Lodge and Ski Club continues to stand as a cherished haven on the slopes, where friendships are forged and memories are made amidst the timeless beauty of the mountains.
